Privacy & cookies

The short version: we collect very little, and we never sell it.

No third-party trackers. No advertising pixels. No data brokers. What you type into the contact form is emailed straight to us — it isn't parked in another company's platform. Beyond that, the only thing we hold is — if you allow it — anonymous counts of which pages get read. Last updated July 20, 2026.

What we collect

Two things, and that's it.

What you send us. When you submit the contact form we receive your name, business name, email, phone number, industry, and whatever you write in the message box. You typed it deliberately — we use it to reply to you and to prepare for the call. Nothing else.

Anonymous usage, only if you agree. If you accept analytics cookies, we record which pages get viewed, which link or campaign referred you, your screen size, and a random ID that lets us tell a repeat visit from a new one. That ID is not linked to your name and cannot identify you. If you decline, none of this is collected at all.

We do not collect your full IP address, we do not fingerprint your device, and we do not track you across other websites.

Analytics cookies are set only after you press Accept. You can change your mind whenever you like — — and declining removes anything already stored.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a decline automatically and never show you the banner.

Where it goes

Into our own inbox. Not a platform.

When you submit the form, it becomes an email to us and nothing else. There is no third-party form service holding your enquiry in a dashboard, no CRM vendor storing it, and no lead-broker involved. It arrives in our mailbox the way an email you sent us directly would.

Two providers are involved purely as plumbing: our hosting provider, which runs the site and keeps standard server logs, and an email delivery service that transmits the message to our inbox. Neither keeps your enquiry for their own purposes, and both act strictly on our instructions.

Analytics, if you allow them, go to our own systems — not to Google Analytics, not to an ad network, not to anyone who would build a profile of you.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone for their own purposes — including, for the avoidance of doubt, under the California Consumer Privacy Act, which we treat as applying to everyone regardless of where you live.

How long

Kept while it's useful — and deleted on request.

Your enquiry stays in our inbox while we're in conversation and for as long as it's reasonably useful afterwards, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. We review what we hold periodically and clear out what we no longer need.

If you'd rather we didn't keep it, say so and it's gone — no conditions, no waiting period. Cookie lifetimes are listed in the table above.

Your rights

Ask, and it happens.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — and you can withdraw analytics consent at any time without giving a reason. If you're in the UK or EU, the GDPR gives you these rights explicitly; if you're in California, so does the CCPA. We apply them to everybody.

Email nick@upshiftautomations.com and a real person — Nick — will handle it. No forms, no ticket queue. We aim to respond within a few days and, at the latest, within the month the law allows.

Children

This isn't a site for kids.

Upshift sells business services and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll remove it.

Changes

If this page changes, the date changes.

If we ever start collecting something new, we'll update this page and ask for your cookie choice again rather than relying on a decision you made about something else. This version is dated July 20, 2026.
